The newest Project is to buit an other roof in the Boys-Paddock
There are still old pols standing that show that once a
previous roof has ben here before.
James decided, that I do need this roof again now, so the young boys can be with
the older boys.
They are with their mami's and the babies now, because they need more food then
the other boys.
Thank you James for making plans on working for this addition!

Febr.7. 2011, here it is now... |
the final finish... |

This new roof is bigger then what I had expected it to be, it's just great for my ponies!
Thank you James, a 100 times!
This is the most wonderful presant, that me and my horses did ever get!!!
The Project was to build a new roof for
this old barn
I do like the look of this old barn, it needs a new
metal roof though and
the old walls have to be stabylised in order not to move, if horses are robbing
on it.
Finally, in August 2010, Mike and his Crew are working on it!

It becomes the barn and Paddock for the
young girls, Hekla Hind and Hara.
I think that they like it there for the night times. |
Building a new wooden fence between house,
driveway
and pasture
Eylimi got hurt in the barbwire fence in spring
2008. Now we did put up a new fence, all wood,
5 feet high - so hopefully no one gets hurt again - this was a bad experience.
Now the stallions can have spring feelings without being in danger while trying
to jump fences.
This fence is too high to jump...hopefully!!!
Building a new roof for the Stallions
Hördur and Eylimi will get a new roof and
there own paddock.
The roof is finished by Christmas, and the paddock will be done soon
afterwards.
Happy boys....if the weather gets bad !
and at the same time building a addition on the roof of the house
the roof of the porch was enlarged on
the the south side of the house.
Building a paddock and a new roof on the old barn and the
old
shelter.
Keith Nissan and Mike Alford are a great help.
The roofs are up within 4 days
the big poles for the new paddock that go with the barn and the shelter,
are driven
into the ground 3 feet, done by Mike Wright.
Then, just the boards between the poles where missing, and a new door & window to the barn.
This will be a nice home for
the Icelandic boys !
Finally, the boys-paddock is
finished.
